Did you know that blood sugar, the glycemic load of each meal influence your metabolism, brain, cognition, liver health and also your vision?

Especially if you are over 45, the combination of foods, carbs, proteins, fats, vegetables and fiber in a dish can make a big difference in your glucose and insulin response, as well as the impact that sugar has on the liver metabolism and preventing Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver (NAFL), one of the most common issues in the development of chronic diseases in modern times.

Blood sugar and glucose metabolism turns out to be a maker for longevity and optimal health. It all starts with what we eat, how much and when we eat it! This matters to everyone, not only pre-diabetics or diabetics. In this workshop, we will go over the main factors from science, foods and combinations used for thousands of years in ancient cultures with records in longevity, as well as easy delicious dishes we can create in these modern times to preserve health and glucose metabolism.
